Prof. Dr. Hristo Kyuchukov is a leading academic and specialist in Romani linguistics and education.
Prof. Dr. Ian Hancock was a director of the Program of Romani Studies and the Romani Archives and Documentation Center at University of Texas at Austin, where he has been a professor of English, linguistics and Asian studies since 1972.
Mr. Orhan Galjus graduated journalism. He has extensive knowledge and experience with European journalism. Besides this, he serves as leading expert on Roma and minority issues and community development.
In January 2024, Mr. Jonathan Lee (ERRC Advocacy and Communications Director) published an article with a title "Roma are not a nation". The article produced high sense of intellectual and political disagreements and disappointments among Roma. The guests of the podcast are signatories of a protest letter sent to the leadership of ERRC.
In this podcast, I wanted to hear their academic and activist views why do they think contrary to Mr. Lee's article.
