Proverbs 25 - Timeless Wisdom
“These also are proverbs of Solomon which the men of Hezekiah king of Judah copied!”
Solomon wrote over 3000 Proverbs. About 800 of those Proverbs made it into the Book, but not all of them were put there by Solomon. King Hezekiah added to them almost three hundred years later. Hezekiah reigned over Israel during a time of spiritual revival, and the key to that revival was going back to the wisdom of God!
The world today needs Jesus. There is a need for revival. The problem is the world does not know they need God. They do not think about what happens after death. They do not think about Heaven. The only way revival takes place is when people go back to the Word, when we see our desperate need for salvation, and the hope God gave us in Jesus!
