"Tomi Kettunen Trio draws inspiration from the european jazz music style called gypsy jazz created by Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli mainly in the 30s and 40s. The trio is joined by a young and talented female singer Elina Virtanen with a warm and deep voice that reminds us of the good old times of tube radios and vinyl records. Elina's main influences are such singers as Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday. Together Tomi Kettunen Trio & Elina Virtanen explore the repertoire of the golden swing era and make the notes swing so hard that it might be even dangerous to dance on the floor."
