Nalini Malik, the head of talent acquisition for Reckitt was at the Konversations Cafe Pre MBA Social, where she spoke about the things she looks for while hiring.
She mentioned the key qualities you need to have to impress her, how Reckitt is using AI to make hiring faster and more effective, how important your LinkedIn profile becomes and who is the right fit for taking up HR as a specialization.
Nalini speaks about her journey of getting HR at MDI Gurgaon by accident and how it became a turning point in her life. She speaks in detail about her first internship, how learning happens beyond classrooms in a B-school, and why you should not give ‘gassy’ answers to Why MBA or Why HR answers.
In this learning-filled session, we also hear from Apoorva Sadana, who recently got a PPO from Reckitt and is an MT now. She talks about her expectations before joining and what actually happened in her time during the MT stint. What fresh graduates from B-schools should expect and how they need to maneuver through challenging projects during their time at Reckitt.
