Michele Saxman Jesus Calling June 27 invites us to BREATHE Him in. Our Creator breathed life into Adam, and that breath is available to us today. The air on our skin and the breath in our lungs provides life to our soul, and restores our body. When circumstances seem overwhelming, check to see if the thought life is in the present tent, the past tent (regret/remorse) or the future tent (worry, doubt/uncertainty). We meet His presence in the present tent.
All of creation was designed for rhythms that our Creator orchestrated. We are gifted 24 hours in a day, divided in times for sleep and time for activity. We were designed to rest. True rest is not when He takes on our burdens, but rather when we take on His yoke and walk at His pace.
