This episode demonstrates live human action recognition with OpenVINO. We use the Action Recognition Models from Open Model Zoo, specifically an Encoder and a Decoder.

Both models create a sequence to sequence ("seq2seq") system to identify the human activities for Kinetics-400 dataset. The models use the Video Transformer approach with ResNet34 encoder. The toolkit makes it easier to convert and optimize models trained using popular framework like TensorFlow, Pytorch, and Caffe. You can deploy across a mix of Intel hardware (like 6th Gen Atom x6000E) and environments on premise and on-device.
