Sudan fighting: Rival factions engage in fierce battles in Omdurman

Al Jazeera English There has been intense fighting between Sudan's army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces, in Omdurman.
Air and artillery strikes as well as small arms gunfire have been reported.
The conflict - which began in mid-April - have killed nearly 3,000 people and displaced hundreds of thousands.
