Tuesday 4 PM Tropical Storm Bret update

WWLTV Tropical Storm Bret continues to traverse the Atlantic but its forecast is coming more into focus and the latest from the National Hurricane Center doesn't have Bret reaching hurricane strength.
The current projected forecast has Bret strengthening to about 65 miles per hour top winds, which would place it short of hurricane status.
After about days 3 to 5, the storm should dissipate over the Caribbean, if not before, due to increasing wind shear. This was the original Euro forecast.
We have lots of time to watch Bret. At this time it is not a threat to the Gulf of Mexico.
Another tropical wave is following right behind Bret. This one is called Invest 93 and could become a depression or storm later this week. Right now long-range models show it moving northward and possibly not even entering the Caribbean Sea. We'll track it, but it is not a threat to the Gulf of Mexico at this time.
