On June 14, 2023, President Bio and the First Lady gave a speech to the people of Masiaka during which they asserted that the APC leadership had been behind all of the rudeness, intimidation, and violence that their supporters had perpetrated over the previous five years.
Former President Ernest Koroma, APC Presidential Candidate Samura Kamara, and the entire APC Leadership, according to President Maada Bio, have refused to denounce the divisive, inciting, and rude messages being spread by a certain Adebayor on behalf of the APC because they are the ones funding his nefarious activities.
“Don’t waste your precious votes on APC as they have already lost this election,” he disclosed, while announcing that the same International Monetary Fund (IMF) that pulled out of Sierra Leone in 2017 as a result of APC thievery continues to work with and support Sierra Leone on the eve of this elections, which is the direct result of good governance.
First Lady Dr. Fatima Bio revealed in her remark that President Bio had previously campaigned in Port Loko by his deeds to the point that he had done more for the district than for any other region of Sierra Leone. She praised President Bio's legacy as unrivaled and urged the locals to vote for a progressive future.
She accused the APC leadership of being behind the nation's rudeness and incitement while reassuring the people that this election would not be about "mammy cuss" and violence but rather the future of women, children, and young people.
She expressed disappointment that Former President Ernest Koroma had never congratulated President Bio on winning the election, despite the fact that President Bio had served as the leader of the opposition for eleven years and had always supported the APC-led government's development efforts, never once attempting to destabilize the nation.
