Germany and France are pushing for a Europe-wide deal on migration with the U.K., citing the adverse impact of Brexit on asylum and migration policies. In a joint letter, they emphasize the need for a coordinated approach to manage irregular flows and the risks involved in Channel crossings. The move coincides with Labour's renewed diplomatic outreach to the EU, potentially paving the way for new agreements.
