I wanted to help people get a better idea for how the avata handles in wind by comparing side by side with some stabilization using gyroflow. This was shot in 4k @ 120fps. You can also get a good idea for what the footage looks like in the goggles as well. I used the motion controller for this video.
It was super windy as I was flying and the unstabilized footage should show that pretty well. I shot this in standard color, and then I edited the color a bit during the last half to kind of give a better idea for stock vs. a little color grading.
You can thank me later for the Justin Timberlake song. I searched for 8 minute songs and this was the best one that came up. I wasn't too worried about the song. This was more of a technical showcase. Also, this place is super cool if you ever get the chance to visit!
