hummel Introducing Denmark’s new national team jersey
Denmark's brand new jersey celebrates the greatest sporting moment in @DBUTV’s and hummel’s shared history. Inspired by the famous Euro 1992 triumph, this retro jersey is a tribute to that iconic success. 26th June 1992 will forever be printed in the memory of Danish football fans. Denmark made the impossible possible and became European champions with a 2-0 win against Germany. The jersey will make its debut on 23rd March when Denmark play Finland in their first European qualifying match in Parken Stadium in Copenhagen.
The new design has several elements inspired by the iconic shirt from '92 - including the characteristic red and white stripes on the sleeves. The European Championship qualifier is the first step on the way to qualifying for the Euros in Germany in 2024, where a new sensation may be waiting.
This year hummel turns 100 years, and as a celebration of the anniversary and the long collaboration with the Danish national team, DBU and hummel have designed a new national team jersey with strong references to their greatest shared experience – the sensational victory at the Euros in 1992 ⚽
