Origami paper ninja stars are a classic and fun project that's easy to make. With just a few simple folds, you can create a colorful and impressive ninja star out of origami paper. In this tutorial, we'll walk you through the step-by-step process of making your own colorful origami paper ninja star.
Materials:
Square origami paper (2 sheets in different colors)
Scissors (optional)
Instructions:
Take one sheet of origami paper and fold it in half diagonally. Crease it well and then unfold it.
Fold the paper in half diagonally in the opposite direction. Crease it well and then unfold it.
Fold the paper in half vertically, crease it well, and then unfold it.
Fold the paper horizontally, crease it well, and then unfold it.
Now, take one corner of the paper and fold it towards the center of the square, lining it up with the vertical crease.
Repeat the same fold on the opposite corner of the paper, folding it towards the center of the square and lining it up with the vertical crease.
Turn the paper over and repeat steps 5-6 on the other side.
Fold the paper in half along the horizontal crease you made earlier.
Take the bottom corners of the paper and fold them up towards the top, tucking them into the pocket created in step 6.
Repeat steps 8-9 with the other sheet of origami paper in a different color.
Place the two folded sheets of paper on top of each other, with the pockets facing each other.
Insert one pocket into the other pocket, making sure they fit together snugly.
Fold the corners of the top sheet down towards the center of the star.
Tuck the corners into the pockets on the bottom sheet.
Repeat steps 13-14 on the other side of the star.
