GumGum is a technology company that is on a mission to erase the use of personal data in digital advertising. They power Verity™, their very own contextual intelligence platform running in AWS cloud that scans text, image, web pages, audio and video to provide a full suite of contextual signals to implement brand safety and suitability. In this architecture review you will learn how they deployed their contextual platform, processing 200M unique pages per day in AWS region leveraging services like API Gateway, Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), Elastic container service (ECS) and Dynamodb holding more than 10Tb of contextual metadata.
More importantly you will learn about their unique use case for AWS Outpost that serves 100k rps classification data at low latency (less than 10ms) using Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), AWS Elasticache Redis and Application Load Balancer (ALB).
