This chapter is another prophecy related to the fall of Jerusalem. It contains the longest list of sins in the Bible, and it is a very interesting list. It is not unlike the sins of the Northern Kingdom during Hosea's ministry. Here we see the social injustice of the secular leaders. We also see the religious apostasy (and social injustice, as well) of the priests and religious leaders. The general population is not to be forgotten as we see the violent and ungodly nature of their culture. All of the groups are credited with forgetting God, for which they will dearly pay.
