Aldersbach Brewery, located in a former Cistercian monastery in Lower Bavaria, is one of the world's oldest breweries, with evidence of brewing dating back to 1268. Since 1812, the von Aretin family has owned both the brewery and the monastery, continuing the brewing tradition with passion. They produce mainly Bavarian classics of exceptional quality in modern brewing facilities. One of their beers, Alderbacher Urhell, is described as bright yellow with fresh grassy hop notes, a hint of hay, mild on the palate, and offering a balanced and round flavor for carefree drinking pleasure.
