A lot of people think selling is easy for me, but it's not. I've had to learn and retrain my brain on Socratic questioning, which is answering a question with a question. It's a real skill that takes time to master, but can benefit you massively in your sales meetings. I once had a meeting with an owner and got thrown out because I didn't know how to respond properly when his question was repeated. I learned my lesson and now I answer as briefly as possible and end on a question to keep control of the sales meeting.
