Italy is one of the best producers of good Doom. Many bands arose in the 'country of the Boot'. Steve Sylvester was significant with Death SS and when his (short-lived) solo career kicked off two albums in have given very good looks.
"Free Man" is a classic European Heavy/Doom album, the first in the solo collection. One of the members was the great friend Paul Chain, architect of the Italian Doom. An album with personal nuances in its lyrics, although the individual being predominates more within the written composition.
There's not much Steve Sylvester here; how good it is recognized with this upload so that we Italian 'Doomers' have that musical memory and let's not forget these masters.
