This video is the beginning of our study of Paul's letter to the Philippians. It will be a magnificent study. However, as with all Bible studies, proper perspective is beneficial to a positive outcome of the study. This introduction includes TO whoM, the book is written, the cultural influence on the book and a MAP. The map and the surrounding discussion set the stage to understand the cultural influences on the people of the area and how it affects the delivery of the mysteries from Paul, as given to him by Jesus Christ.
One comment I would like to make is in the area of a correction. At one point I mention the prophecies of Ezekiel as it pertains to Tyre and the King of Tyre. I inadvertently said these prophecies can be found in Ezekiel 36-38; I should have said the correct location of Ezekiel 26-28. Please forgive me.
