In this week's Pastor's Update, Rev. Myra announces that our first of three walk-throughs at our potential new space at 208 Child Street has been scheduled for this Saturday, June 24th, from 6-8 pm! We hope you can join us!
In other big news, Rev. Celie is halfway through writing a book to celebrate Spiritus' 25th Anniversary! She is interviewing the various ministries to capture both how far we've come, and "some of the spirit of who we are." She is also interested in hearing from parishioners on the question of "what does 'Catholic' mean to you?" Tune in to hear more, and we hope you will email her with your thoughts! Plans are for the book to be published by Christmas!
In other news, please mark your calendars for our first Summer Mass in the Park on Tuesday, June 27th at 6 pm, and our inaugural Jazz Mass on Thursday, June 29th.
Finally, a round of congrats to:
Rev. Myra and team for helping pass the Guaranteed Basic Income pilot program in the city of Rochester
Mark Bennett and his Grace of God Recovery team for housing 6 men for the first time -- basically doubling capacity in one year!
and to Don Potter, for turning 90! Don is a wonderful and humble servant, and much loved. Happy Birthday!
