Psalm 23:1-6 A Psalm of David. In this case, a gift for Papa David. So grateful for this labor of love (my Christmas present) from my grandchildren who heard me sing this melody to Psalm 23 and decided to score it into a strings quartet composition from their memory of singing it with me in the car when were traveling to and from their music lessons. While I am thrilled with the arrangement that so beautifully captures this musical presentation of Psalm 23, it delights me even more to know that this treasure from Scripture has been etched onto the tablet of their hearts. So sweet! Soli Deo Gloria! I am enjoying this especially today (December 28, 2020), as I am celebrating my spiritual birthday, as my good Shepherd has faithfully loved and guided me throughout these 47 years since I received Him on December 28, 1973 while stationed aboard the USS Midway (https://quiettimepoems.blogspot.com/.../memories-on...). Hallelujah! What a Savior! What a privilege it is to know Him and to make Him known!
