L: The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
C: He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.
L: Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
C: You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
ALL: Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever!

Prayer of Confession
Eternal and Almighty God, we are grateful that you love us with a profound love that cannot do evil to us by any measure! Yet, Father, we confess that despite our knowledge, we sometimes waiver in our spirits. We too often think you have turned away from us; we sometimes complain that you don’t really love us because our prayers aren’t always answered as we wish they were. Father, forgive us our doubts and complaints. We know nothing! You are perfect! Draw us to yourself once more in perfect trust that we may again experience your perfect love and peace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
