Pilomatricoma, also known as pilomatrixoma, is a type of noncancerous (benign) skin tumor associated with hair follicles. Pilomatricoma is a benign tumor that arises from hair follicle matrical cells. Involvement of the limb is relatively uncommon and can be mistaken for other soft tissue tumors.
