In this video, Pastor Steve is talking about 2 Corinthians 5:7, where it says, “we walk by faith, and not by sight." That’s because our natural senses can deceive us. Not everything we see or hear is real or true, or even valid. More than ever, Christians need DISCERNMENT, the ability from the Holy Spirit to detect truth from falsehood, lies and disinformation. We CAN be fooled! We CAN be tricked! We CAN be deceived! We need to stick to the timeless and eternal principles of the Word of God, and not fall for the things that seem real, but aren’t.
Also, many people think that if you’re listening to God, and following Him, then everything will go easily. Well, it WON’T! In fact, if you’re walking with God, being obedient and following Him, you’ll face a lot of rejection, a lot of ridicule, and people coming against you. And most of them will be Christians!
Walking in faith leads to spiritual knowledge. As you walk by faith, you will begin to RECEIVE by faith, you’ll begin to EXPERIENCE by faith, you’ll begin to LEARN by faith, and soon you will KNOW the spiritual things of God by faith! Those unseen things that are not temporary, but are eternal!
