A Different Bias Rishi Sunak is allowing people to think that he is going to abolish inheritance tax. But this will blow a £7B hole in his budget, and almost no voters will notice a positive difference. How would he pay for it without furthing squeezing voters? Or is Sunak only sounding positive about the plan because he intends to hold an election before his chancellor can issue another budget statement?
