I am going to share something super personal that makes me question if I should even post on socials but here we go..
Throwback 5 years ago,
I was finding myself always dating these shitty girls.
Girls that were emotionally unstable
Girls that wouldn’t support me
Girls that didn’t respect me
It made me play the blaming game.
“Man, these girls nowadays are not brought up right”
“These girls are not loyal and will never be loyal”
And a whole list of reasons to justify why I was not successful with finding a good woman.
I just turned 28 and over the last few years.
As I started taking self improvement and entrepreneurship more seriously, I realized the 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐦𝐞.
Yea I was in shape but health doesn’t just mean the physical.
Mentally I was weak.
Emotionally, I was more insecure and unstable than I’d like to admit.
My masculine to feminine ratio was imbalanced.
These were all just the hard F’ing truth that I didn’t have the guts and bravery to swallow and admit when I was in my early 20s.
I sometimes have clients tell me about their dating scenario or crappy people/relationships they’re around.
The 𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡 is it’s your 𝐟𝐚𝐮𝐥𝐭.
The power and decision lies within your hands.
Blaming only relinquishes your power.
You chose the person so therefore you are responsible.
However, the moment you “flip the switch” and start healing and start being honest with yourself.
The moment things will come into your life.
I was overweight and hated how I looked at age 10-13.
I took responsibility and got in shape by age 16.
I was the friend in my peers of engineers/real estate professionals who was lost with my career after university.
I now run multiple ventures and am a Airbnb host.
I was a insecure, unstable person that didn’t understand nor truly love myself in my early 20s.
I’ve been in a healthy, happy relationship for over a year.
Your external is always a reflection of your internal.
