Psalms Songwriting Project
Erin Cheney I've felt stuck for a while now when it's come to songwriting. But a conversation I had with friends in our backyard around our fire pit one night sparked something. With a heavy and angsty heart, I confessed to them that as much as I had loved songwriting, that maybe I don't do that anymore. I'm so thankful for the songs that were given to me in the past, and perhaps that chapter is over.
But my sweet friend looked me boldly and lovingly in the eye and told me that I should change my verbiage from "I don't do that anymore" to "I don't do that right now".
That little switch gave me just enough hope to start asking the Lord again if He would be pleased to entrust more songs to me.
Then this idea hit me....
