Waiting for the Lord when you are being treated with contempt calls for a deep faith and a clear focus. Israel learned this during the exile and all believers must do the same during their exile on earth. Many years ago my friend Israel Harel wrote a moving song using the original Hebrew text of this Psalm which still speaks powerfully to our hearts
