A River Valley Community College and Granite State College graduate, Tamika joined Team Cheshire after licensing as an RN. As a person of color from a small southern town, she was worried about being accepted by colleagues in rural New Hampshire. While the culture in Keene is very different, Tamika's concerns were unfounded. Beloved by patients and colleagues alike, she is an exemplary nurse and a lifelong learner. Tamika recently took the opportunity to become certified as a Certified Ambulatory Perianesthesia Nurse and is now pursuing her master's degree with tuition support from Cheshire.
