We need to remind ourselves that our identity is secured in Jesus' work on the cross. “The cross can reset us into a sense of the Lord's commitment to our future,” David says. “It can reset us into a place of trust in Him: ‘I trust You, God. I trust You with my salvation. I trust You with my cleansing. I trust You with my sin, my renewal, my healing. I trust You, God.’”
