The Reserve Bank of India is on a pilot project for end-to-end digitization of the Kisan Credit scheme. The scheme is being developed by the central bank and its subsidiary, the Reserve Bank Innovation Hub, aiming to speed up the loan turnaround time and reduce it from 4-6 weeks to a few days. Business Today's correspondent Karishma Asoodani speaks with Rajesh Bansal, CEO of the Reserve Bank Innovation Hub, to understand the progress of the initiative announced in September last year.
