Transgender transitioning treatments can have ‘severe’ effects on reproductive system

Sky News Australia Sky News host Peta Credlin says there has been a huge surge in young females identifying as transgender and then embarking on lifelong and taxpayer-funded treatment.
This treatment comes just eight years after it was ruled that females who identify as the opposite sex or non-binary can get a public subsidy to masculinise their bodies with synthetic testosterone.
Gender Clinic News journalist Bernard Lane says young girls who identify as male may not want to look after their natural reproductive system which can lead to serious health risks.
“When they’re given high doses of synthetic testosterone, this is a drug introduced into the body, it’s not present in those natural levels in females,” Mr Lane told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
“The effects on the reproductive system can be severe.”
