A note from Christoph:
This is the sequel to last week's Prelude. It's the type of fugue my first organ teacher Professor Hermann Schaeffer at Christuskirche Mannheim, Germany, called Champagner-Fuge – 'champagne fugue'. (Another example would be the middle movement in Buxtehude's "Prelude, Fugue and Chaconne in C".)
I now have three renditions of BWV 542/2 on YouTube (the other two were recorded on the Mega-Organ at First Congregational Church of Los Angeles). You can find them on my 'Bull plays Bach' playlist:

The performance in this video was filmed and recorded at the Organ Studio of UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music by Umberto Belfiore and Alexandra Grabarchuk. Thanks, Umberto & Alex!
I'm very grateful that I've had access to this beautiful Noack Tracker Organ, Opus 97 (1981), at UCLA since 2002.
