What do I think of @kiefersutherland whisky release, @redbankwhisky ?
Canadian Blended Whisky, bottled at 40%. On the nose it reminds me of a bourbon, sweet but not overly strong. On the palate it's got a sweet flavour similar to a grain whisky but unfortunately this goes pretty quickly and you're left with a bitter, ethanolic after taste. I think the 40% is a contributer to the short finish and possibly a higher abv would help the 'length'of this dram?
£47 for a NAS, 40% Blended Canadian whisky is a little bit spicy for me which is why I would personally recommend the @boutiqueywhisky
Canadian Corn Whisky over this. Not only is it cheaper but also a higher abv and richer in flavours.
I always tell people that I'm going to be 100% honest and these are my views. I'm sure there will be some fans out there who will buy this bottle, but unfortunately it's not one for me. I just hope the other reviews I've seen are honest to people's opinions as the last thing we want to do is mislead people.
I sent several drams of this out to other people and their views seemed similar.
