Gabe has been practicing the technique called Rapid Prompting Method on and off since last year. He has not had much time with his instructor yet, but he has already shown us he is capable and has a lot to say!
Today while with Ingrid his instructor, she asked him if he wanted to learn a lesson about something she had prepared for him or did he want to share something instead. He circled the word Share and began to spell on his letterboard. He spelled "Friend Stil Realy Mised"
This has been the theme in his sessions. He has only wanted to share about his friend and how much he loves having a friend. What having a friend means to him and that he misses her.
This may sound heartbreaking, but the good news is that Arielle is coming home tomorrow! She and Gabe will get together on Saturday and Arielle has created a visual schedule about their plans!
I can't wait to see how he reacts to seeing her!
