News Central TV The government has been requested to evaluate the most recent increase in Federal University tuition by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).
The increase in fees, according to the union's president, Professor Emmanuel Osodeke, may not be beneficial for the youth of Nigeria. The best course of action, according to Osodeke, is to take a comprehensive approach and add that the policies should be people-centred.
He continues by saying that the government ought to form a panel to look into the problems and assess the higher fees as they relate to the nation's educational system.
