Equivalent Resistance Parallel Circuits

I used three 10kohm resistors in parallel to measure the equivalent resistance in the circuit. Remember when measuring resistance to not use any power. When calculating Re within a parallel circuit using resistors of equal value the formula becomes very simple:

Resistance value of one resistor/number of resistors

10kohm/3 = 3.3kohm

When using resistors of different value the formula changes:

Re = (R1 * R2)/(R1 + R2) = 100Mohm/20kohm = 5kohm

Then repeat the process again if more resistors are being used.
