French-born giant panda Yuan Meng is set to arrive at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in southwest China's Sichuan Province next Tuesday. People gathered at the Beauval Zoo in central France on Monday to bid farewell to the 6-year-old panda. China and France initiated the international cooperation research project on giant pandas as Huan Huan and Yuan Zai were sent to Beauval Zoo in 2012. Yuan Meng was born in France on August 4, 2017, the first panda born in the country. #shorts
