Atonement provided a solution to an overdraft

TheJPR54 Atonement can be paralelled with reconciliation, the process by which we compare our cash book with a bank statement. Reconciliation has to do with money and atonement has to do with sin. We are never financially better off after reconciliation but with atonement we are. Although still sinfull our sins are at least not imputed any longer. But what does this matter?
