Ballet Austin Founded in 1956, Ballet Austin Academy is the official ballet school of Ballet Austin.
Throughout the year, students are selected by Ballet Austin’s artistic staff to perform with the company in full-length productions. Only Academy students are eligible to audition for roles in these productions, including Ballet Austin’s annual production of THE NUTCRACKER.
Presented in a positive and nurturing environment, the Academy’s curriculum is comprehensive and rigorous. Although the Academy’s primary focus is to provide what is necessary for a professional career in dance, our students learn many life skills along the way that instill self-confidence, self-discipline and the ability to excel in all areas of life.
