Australian war hero Ben Roberts-Smith has been found by a civil court to be complicit in the murder of unarmed Afghans and lost out on a defamation case against three local newspapers. Speaking on June 14, 2023, after the release of the judgment, Roberts-Smith said he was devastated about the court outcome and refuses to apologise to the victims’ families.
