ferociousgumby I've read lots of reviews of Showgirl in Hollywood (1930), one of those early talkies which were billed as "All Singing! All Dancing!" But NOBODY mentions the fact that the chorus in the background is wearing macabre Grim Reaper costumes. They zip them on at 0:23, and at some point they shuck them off again, but it's never explained. Meantime, the song is all about rainbows!
