GREENTECH FESTIVAL Celebrating the resounding success of the fifth edition of the GREENTECH FESTIVAL in Berlin! 🙌 With an attendance of over 11,500 visitors and a diverse range of activities, it was an event to remember.
An impressive lineup of more than 180 speakers took the stage across 5 stages, sparking engaging discussions on crucial topics such as AI's environmental impact, equitable innovations, and the health implications of a changing climate.
The event hosted a variety of important speakers and guests, including distinguished figures like Federal Minister of Economics Dr. Robert Habeck, Prof. Dr. Johan Rockström, Federal Minister of Finance Christian Lindner, Federal Minister of Education and Research Bettina Stark-Watzinger, Google's CSO Kate Brandt, DB Chairman of the Board Richard Lutz, Alexander Stotz, CEO of Ströer, followed by our outstanding GREEN AWARDS nominees.
Aimée van Baalen, activist & spokesperson for "Letzte Generation," took the stage in a panel discussion about the importance and limits of a protest movement that consciously transgresses legal frameworks for concrete political and structural changes.
The exhibition area buzzed with excitement as over 160 exhibitors showcased their sustainable products and services, featuring industry leaders and start-ups.
In-depth exploration was facilitated through 9 enlightening Deep Dive sessions, 16 Solution Stage sessions, and 6 Green Business Bootcamps, equipping participants with practical insights and strategies for a sustainable future.
As an interdisciplinary meeting hub, the GREENTECH FESTIVAL in Berlin attracted companies, scientists, political institutions, and people from all over the world with an enthusiasm for green technologies to present, discover, and discuss solutions for a greener tomorrow.
