When you don’t make the school talent show but still want an audience. 😁🤩💛
A month ago, Bo came home from school and told me he was going to audition for the talent show and sing a song from Hamilton which was a HUGE surprise to me coming from a kid who has never performed in front of anyone and has a pretty significant speech impediment. He was determined, so confident and planned out his costume down to every detail. He didn’t like any of the pre-made options we could find so we’ve been piecing together things for weeks 😂.
He’s been working so hard practicing his performance and auditioned today at school but unfortunately didn’t make it into the show. So, that means you get to be his audience 😁 to which he told me: “there’s more people on the internet anyway, I just hope the children will get a chance to see it.” 😂 Love our little brave 1st grader and his confidence and determination! 🥰❤️ I hope he keeps it forever. ❤️
(And absolutely no hard feelings toward the school - they can only take a certain number of kids and there are lots of talented kids at our school! ❤️)
