This was filmed back in July of 2023, my friend Luna was at the front of my mind then and remains so now. It's been bittersweet thinking back to our time together, there was just so much love, so many laughs and bedtime stories and tangled up hospital room hugs. She passed in September, surrounded by love.
I would take my little fox on my Adventures to remind her of the adventures we could go on when she was free of the beeps and wires. And we did have a few little adventures together before she passed, she was so strong and escaped the hospital, I remember showing her these little clips of the forest and telling stories of us having little picnics together :)
I wanted to remind her that wherever I go, her spirit comes with me. I think that brought us both some peace. And now whenever I hug my stuffed fox or feel a warm orange sunbeam peek through the leaves, I'll take it as a little hug back from Luna. She was good at hugs, she was good in every way.
Thinking of renewal, how we're all made of stardust, of clouds, of earth. We are eternal in that way, and the love we share lasts far beyond our lifetimes.
