TU Dresden Since 2022, Prof. Hassinger holds the professorship for low-temperature physics of complex electron systems at the Cluster of Excellence ct.qmat. Superconductors made of quantum materials can save up to 30% energy, but are mostly uranium compounds unsuitable for everyday use. Prof. Hassinger presents a novel cerium-based superconductor and its outstanding properties.
