Maestro Enrique Diemecke, Music Director of the Grammy Award-nominated Flint Symphony Orchestra, will select 8 young conductors for an intensive program focusing on repertoire of the 19th century. The nine day session will include score analysis, study sessions with 2 pianos, and 2 rehearsals and a public concert with the Flint Symphony Orchestra. Maestro Diemecke will lead all sessions. Each conductor will lead the orchestra in a 19th century work during a public concert on July 4.
