Southern Cross Thank you to the children, families and staff at Southern Cross Early Childhood School for supporting the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) through Type Onesie Day.
Thank you also to 'the Cashews" for writing the amazing song "If You're Wearing a Onesie Put Your Hands in the Air".
JDRF is working to cure, treat, and prevent type 1 diabetes (T1D), an autoimmune disease that strikes both children and adults and lasts a lifetime. There are 122,300 Australians with type 1 diabetes, with six new cases diagnosed every day. Type 1 diabetes is the fastest growing chronic disease amongst Australian children. (JRDF website)
